Mayor Tamara's Community Involvement.

Picture
My love for the City of Salisbury has led me to become involved in our City through many avenues and to serve by appointment to the Human Relations Council, the Community Appearance Commission, the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee, and the Salisbury Citizen's Academy Class of 2015.

For over six years before being elected to the Council Tamara was a regular attendee of Salisbury City Council meetings and her nearly twenty years of involvement in our community is second to none.

Some of you may know me as we have worked together with various community organizations and local nonprofits including the Rowan County Chamber of Commerce, Lee Street Theater, Piedmont Players Theater, Center for Faith and the Arts, Fulton Heights Neighborhood Association, Salisbury Pride, Catawba Chiefs Club, Covenant Community Connection or  National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association just to name a few.

Additionally, I mentored at Poole College of Business for NC State and with the Wake Forest MBA Student Mentor Program and I have guest lectured at Catawba College and Pfeiffer University.
